Figs Brown Turkey

A large pear-shaped fig. Yellow/brown soft flesh, with edible seeds which have a nutty taste like dried figs. Fairly tough skin and when ripe have a green/brown/purple hue.

Habit - Roundtop spreading tree. Figs will begin to bear fruit after 3-5 years

Size - 4 - 5 metres.

Pollination - No pollination required.

Harvest - First crop or breba figs form on last years, growth and will not grow until spring. These ripen December- January depending on site. Second crop figs form during the summer

Figs Mrs Williams

large pyriform shaped fig. Yellow neck and brown to purple skin with red flesh.

Habit - Roundtop spreading tree. Figs will begin to bear fruit after 3-5 years

Size - 4 - 5 metres.

Pollination - No pollination required.

Harvest - First crop or breba figs form on last years, growth and will not grow until spring. These ripen December- January depending on site. Second crop figs form during the summer growing season and ripen in the Autumn, from late March to May. To enhance the development of late crop figs tip the new shoots to 4 or 5 leaves in mid-December. Maincrop late - April.

Figs Panache

Small to medium-sized fruit with green/yellow strips. Very decorative. Sweet cherry red flesh.

Conical shaped fruit. Ideal for hot growing areas. Late harvest.

Habit - Large round top compact tree. Figs will begin to bear fruit after 3-5 years.

Size - 3m x 5m

Pollination - No pollination required as the fruit with the flower inside.

Harvest - Harvest in April when the ripest fruit starts to fall or the birds start to eat.
